Canfield is inspired by and for the commuters of Los Angeles. With a mostly industrial approach to the interior architecture, the project exemplifies portals and thresholds by framing openings and delineating space into usable “found” compartments. Though the amenity spaces may be small in essence, they are packed with a myriad of function for the remote worker, the fitness junkie, and the “nine-to-five” worker.
