The Lobby At Main
Hospitality
Typology:
Completed
Status:
Confidential
Client:
Los Angeles, CA
Location:
This lobby takes inspiration from the Beaux-Arts movement of the building’s exterior facade and celebrates the moody romanticism of the era. Packed in its small space is a place to connect, an integrated reception desk, and a hospitality bar to help create a warm inviting atmosphere. While historic in essence, the modern interpretation is well-suited for the 21st century.
There is an emphasis on layering seen throughout many of the surfaces and built elements. From the combination of ribbed wood and a marble-look solid surface with gold reveals at the reception desk, to the paneled walls, this lobby is dripping in detail.
